You are invited to submit a proposal to present at the Association for Co-operative Education (ACE) BC/Yukon 2011 Conference. The conference will be held from Wednesday May 18 to Friday, May 20  in Victoria, BC, at the Inn at Laurel Point.  Presentations will take place May 19 and 20. The ACE 2011 Conference theme is Quality @ Work 

Presentations:  We welcome a diverse range of presentations themes, which might include:
  • Quality in student learning
  • Quality in the workplace
  • Quality in Co-op programs
Presentation formats


Presentations may be interactive sessions, panel discussions or lectures. The sessions are 50 minutes in length and should be based on research or initiatives that can be generalized to the larger co-op community. A double session may be possible, based on session availability. 

Submission procedures 
  • Use the Call for presentations application form.    
  • Save the form as a Word document with your name as the title.
  • Email the completed application form Dave Hutchinson, ACE 2011 Program Chair, at hiscoop@uvic.ca
  • Receipt of proposals will be confirmed by e-mail. 
The submission deadline is February 14, 2011. The Program Committee, consisting of multi-institutional representation, will evaluate all proposals and correspond directly with the author(s). 

 

Notification of acceptance to present at the ACE 2011 conference will be sent no later than February 25, 2011.
